Coronavirus outbreak: B.C. premier, health officials announce provincial response plan 卑詩省府公布新型冠狀病毒疫情應變計劃
British Columbia Premier John Horgan, Minister of Health Adrian Dix and provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry outlined a COVID-19 provincial health response plan on Friday. The plan includes expanding sites where COVID-19 tests can be done, expanding testing capacity, increasing the advice businesses will receive around protecting staff, ensuring resources are in place if health facilities are maxed out with positive cases, and providing support to family physicians and community-based specialists. There are currently 21 cases of COVID-19 in the province, one of which is believed to have been contracted through community contact.
