COVID-19: Advice evolves on how to use rapid tests effectively

The federal government says it will distribute 140 million kits by the end of the month, as many Canadians still struggle to find the kits amid the surge of the Omicron variant.

But with the test kits becoming a popular way for Canadians to find out if they have COVID-19 – what’s the best way to collect a sample? From your nose? Or your throat?

As Jamie Mauracher explains, advice is evolving on how to use rapid tests as more data emerges on how exactly they detected the virus.
