Distillers across Canada are switching from making gin, vodka and rye to mixing hand sanitizer to meet the increased demand across Canada. ‘We saw a wonderful opportunity to help the community,’ says Mark Harrop, head distiller at Spirit of York in Toronto’s Distillery District.
